The Rotary Club of Forest Lake hosts our Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. This 5K/1 Mile Fun Run benefits Rangers Supporting Rangers (RSR), a 501(c)3 organization that provides food support to district students and families with financial needs. This event has raised over $14,190 for RSR to date. Runners of all levels, walkers, parents with kids in strollers, and leashed dogs are all welcome!
Check In takes place at the Forest Lake City Center (1408 Lake St S, Forest Lake, MN 55025), with the run taking place on the Hardwood Creek Trail behind the building. You need to check in prior to the race in order to receive your number bib and Turkey Trot stocking cap. We accept food donations at registration for Rangers Supporting Rangers backpack program. Cancellation/Refund Information
Due to the costs involved in setting up and holding a race, which are incurred before race day, there are no refunds. Entries may not be transferred to another runner, deferred to another year, or applied to another event. Thank you for your understanding.
If COVID-19 and/or other conditions force the event to be shut down, the races will be changed to virtual events. If this happens, race shirts and race numbers will be available for pick up on Thanksgiving morning at the Forest Lake City Center. Another day/time to pick up items may be considered if the cancellation is due to weather. You will be contacted via email if this happens.
*If your dog does not do well with other dogs, large groups of people, children, or loud noise, please consider leaving them at home. We would like everyone, including our furry friends, to have a safe and enjoyable event.
